Cancer is a disease in which the body's cells proliferate uncontrollably. When cancer begins in the liver, it is referred to as liver cancer. The liver is a common location for the development of primary or secondary tumors. The liver is placed below the lower ribs on the upper right side of the body. The liver performs a variety of functions, including nutrition storage. Getting rid of waste materials and worn-out cells in the blood. In the United States, around 24,500 men and 10,000 women are diagnosed with liver cancer each year, with approximately 18,600 men and 9,000 women dying from the condition. Computed tomography (CT) images are generally used to diagnose liver cancer. Our objective is to employ machine learning to create an image segmentation method that will aid in the identification of liver lesions in contrast-enhanced CT images. The dataset we're utilizing is from kaggle, and it includes liver CT scans from clinical locations throughout the world.
