Illumina MiSeq - Next Generation Sequencer
The GTAC houses the Biology department's Next-Generation sequencing machine, the Illumina MiSeq.
(Pricing information- Coming in August!)
PCR Supplies and Machines
The GTAC has a number of thermocyclers including three with gradient capability for optimizing annealing temperatures. These are available to all registered GTAC users and can be scheduled on the in-house calendar.
The GTAC also stocks several Taq Polymerases and some standard primers. Contact the director for more information and pricing.
ABI 7300 Real-time PCR
One ABI7300 Real Time PCR machines is available on a "first come, first serve" basis, but reasonable reservations can be accommodated.
