Gender identities undergo critical development during adolescence (Steensma et al., 2013), when the risks of gender-based stereotype threat and discrimination are especially significant (Brown & Stone, 2016). To share knowledge about current perspectives on gender (Hyde et al., 2019) and support the healthy psychosocial development among adolescents, an educational workshop series about gender was developed for high school students. The series includes three workshops on Gender Awareness, Healthy Relationships, and Gender Dynamics. The first two workshops have been conducted at a local high school. Future directions include assessing the impact of the third workshop and developing supplemental materials for parents.
