The main idea of this project is to design smart IoT controlled LED garden lights that are rechargeable and has programable functionality. Sustainability is key and so the recharging will be done using a set of solar panels and the charging will be monitored and regulated using a battery management unit (BMU). Functionality of the garden lights will include automatic daylight detection, ability to set timings and remotely control the lights using a mobile application. This will be achieved by using PIR sensors and LDR. This project is based around the use of the ESP32 Microcontroller with Wi-Fi capability for IoT integration. A custom designed PCB to integrate all the components will be implemented. The entire system will be packaged in a 3D printed enclosure for protection against the elements.
