Covid-19 Mask Sanitizer

Masks getting dirty in public can present a challenge. At home a mask can be washed but in public there is no convenient option. As such a publicly accessible mechatronic mask washing station could address the sanitary and convenience oriented problems this presents. The system would be operated by a motor operating a rack and pinion system that spreads the mask apart, a motorized lid as well as a UV light will be used to thoroughly and evenly sanitize the mask with sensors and an lcd display for the electronic user interface.
