Analysis Workstations
GTAC maintains in-lab computers to support routine sequence visualization, file review, and basic molecular biology analysis directly associated with GTAC laboratory workflows.
For high-performance computing or large-scale data processing, users should consult Academic Technology (AT) or other institutional computing resources.
Legacy Software Access
An older Apple workstation is maintained to provide compatibility access for legacy files and older software formats when needed.
Geneious Prime
GTAC provides access to Geneious Prime under an institutional enterprise license.
- Licenses are assigned to individual users
- Access is granted for defined project periods
- Users must request access from the GTAC Director
Data Storage
GTAC does not maintain a file server.
Institutional storage options (e.g., Box) are available through SFSU ITS and Academic Technology.
Users are responsible for maintaining secure storage and backups of research data.
