This design project is meant to apply stabilization technology to the transport of sensitive materials in a cargo container or occupants aboard a cruise ship. The project uses four cable pulleys powered by DC motors to extend or retract cables that are used to suspend a shipment, room, or platform. The model created is used to showcases the operation on a lower scale of what could be implemented on a larger scale with upgraded equipment.
