The main objective of this project is to find a sustainable solution to the issue of desalination brine. The approach involves using the industrial process of chlorine production while repurposing the brine for salt production.
To achieve this goal, a plan was developed in consultation with experts from SFSU, including Dr. Tennant, Dr. Zhou, Dr. Conteras, Dr. Zang, Dr. Azimzadeh and MESA. The aim is to work together to find a solution, starting with a specific idea of creating a magnetic filter for saltwater, inspired by similar technology used at Palm Beach State College.
The research is being conducted online to find suitable magnets for this filter, both for domestic and industrial use. The ultimate goal is to create an effective solution that addresses the issue of desalination brine in a responsible manner. Review by ChatGPT
