The Coffey Cup (ENGR 697)

Our "Coffey Cup" is a concept mug for coffee (and other warm drinks) to be able to keep these liquids warm at the optimal temperature for consumption. Battery power, packaging, and heating element technology is incorporated into the design following disciplines in heat transfer, electrical circuits & hardware design/CAD. The project is to be displayed as a concept due to technical difficulties in accessing specific materials and electrical equipment such as the heating element. Experimental data and simulations are to be provided in order to tell our ENGR 696/697 "story".
