The goal of this project is to design the physically impossible. We wanted to utilize modern technology, 3D printing, and our engineering minds to create something that would theoretically be impossible. With that in mind, we created a cable bridge with an infinity arch. To take it a step further we also wanted to test the capabilities and try to predict deflections for our bridge by loading it with 50lbs and 100lbs. The goal of that is to better understand experimental versus theoretical calculations in the engineering field and get a better understanding of outside factors that affect design.
