Climate HQ's Second Annual Earth Week Film Fest
Overview
This year’s FilmFest will feature the award-winning documentary “Water Warriors” by filmmaker and activist Micheal Premo, which tells the story of indigenous and non-indigenous community members in New Brunswick who join together to resist against the oil and gas industry that threatens their water and ways of life.
NorCal Public Media, this year’s official Climate HQ Earth Week FilmFest media sponsor, will share a sneak preview of their forthcoming PBS series, “Climate California.”
The event will also include a panel discussion and audience Q&A with our student filmmakers; Michael Premo, “Climate California” series producer; Charles Loi, NorCal’s CEO and Executive Producer; Darren LaShelle; and will be moderated by Bay Area filmmaker and founder of the online documentary platform Docuvist, Chloë Fitzmaurice.
