An autonomous following wagon to enable people to transport heavy items hands-free. Implementation of a camera with AI recognition, autonomous navigation and electric hub wheels onto an existing sturdy and foldable wagon. Our approach for our projects utilizes the use of autonomous technology, breaking beyond its current common use in autonomous cars. This allows the wagon to have no extra hardware needed to operate, makes setup and use of the wagon very easy and accessible. Making it more accessible is a major factor in our design as our goal is for the wagon to enable disabled folks who aren’t able to carry heavy items or pull on heavily loaded manual wagons. As well for industrial use in fields like agriculture, event setup, construction and warehouses.
