This project focuses on the design of a 360° haptic obstacle detection system using a set of Time-of-Flight (ToF) distance sensors and ERM haptic motors implemented on an embedded system platform. The system is intended to be integrated into a common head-worn accessory so that the device remains discreet and practical for everyday use. The system is designed to assist visually impaired individuals by providing haptic feedback that helps them perceive and navigate their surrounding environment.
