Gamified skill activities are designed to help early career professionals develop skills as they transition into the workforce. In Study 1, three different skill activities were tested, and the gamified activity was the only one that produced measurable improvements in participants’ career self-efficacy. Building on these findings, this study examines how time immersed in the gamified skill activity influences early career professionals’ user experience and perceptions of career readiness.
