The system will be a postural monitoring system designed to alert users when they exhibit poor posture. The system will utilize several IMU sensors and a pressure sensor to detect any incorrect posture. If poor posture is detected for an extended period of time, the system will use several LRA motors to give haptic feedback, alerting the user of their poor posture and how to correct it. Threshold-based monitoring will be used to determine poor posture, referencing the angles of the IMU sensors recorded during a 3-second calibration period. Additional data will be recorded by the pressure sensor, which will record if the user is sitting or standing. This will adjust the threshold of what is considered poor posture by the system. An EPS32 microcontroller will be used to process sensor data and control haptic feedback.
