In response to the unprecedented challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, our project endeavors to capture, organize, and disseminate the invaluable experiences and insights of healthcare staff shared across diverse social media platforms. Despite the wealth of information available, these resources often remain scattered and underutilized. Our initiative aims to bridge this gap through a multifaceted approach, incorporating passive data collection to develop an online repository and visually interactive platform for analyzing the pandemic. Targeting this, our project outlines two primary objectives: 1) Establishing a Comprehensive Repository: Construct an online repository to aggregate and structure textual data from healthcare professionals sourced from social media platforms, blogs, and forums. 2) Facilitating Interactive Access and Analysis: Develop an online platform with advanced query functionalities and visual analytics tools for users to explore and analyze the data. The resulting platform is vital for healthcare professionals, policymakers, researchers, and the public. By centralizing frontline perspectives, we improve understanding of the pandemic's impact on healthcare workers. Access to this data enhances decision-making and boosts healthcare system preparedness for future crises.
