In this study, we investigate the plant growth properties of Exiguobacterium. Using tools such as the JGI IMG database, we look into the genes found in Exiguobacterium and compare to other organisms containing known supporting plant growth properties. We have found similar genes that supports the plant growth properties of Exiguobacterium. Our results indicate that Exiguobacterium has similar plant growth genes to other known beneficial organisms. These findings could help plants grow in a similar way and might be useful for sustainable farming.
