Our project, WakeupCall, addresses the common struggle of feeling groggy upon waking up and aims to mitigate the negative consequences of oversleeping. We recognize that sleep inertia, the transitional period between sleep and wake, contributes to this grogginess. To tackle this issue, we've chosen Microsoft Visual Studio as our development environment for its versatility and efficiency. Leveraging Xamarin within Visual Studio enables us to create an Android application, streamlining development and maintenance. Our Android app incorporates C programming for native functionalities, by providing a fake phone call screen to trick the user into waking up as well as providing fake alerts to grab the attention of the user to give a sense of urgency. WakeupCall aims to provide users with a smoother waking experience and improve overall productivity
