Migratory birds have always been a magnificent sight to see during the spring and fall months but ever since climate change became a global threat in the 1980s, changes in bird migration have started to become more evident. The impacts of climate change have been widely documented but the impacts this has on migratory birds are still unknown. Here I will research papers that find connections between the effects of climate change on migratory birds. Researchers have documented changes in the departure and arrival dates for migratory birds traveling to and from their breeding grounds. Understanding the impacts of climate change on migratory bird patterns could give us more insight into the impact this may have on future populations of these species.
