A new study on the stressful impact of the 2016 election on college students, led by Assistant Professor of Psychology Melissa Hagan, has been covered by more than 150 media outlets including the Washington Post, CNN, ABC News and Newsweek. “What we were interested in seeing was, did the election for some people constitute a traumatic experience? And we found that it did for 25 percent of young adults,” said Hagan.
