New Scholarship Opportunity for Graduate Students Studying Ecology, Evolution and Biodiversity of Life

San Francisco State University has partnered with the nonprofit Global Viral to offer up to three scholarships for SF State graduate students asking questions about the ecology, evolution and biodiversity of life. The two-year scholarships will offer up to $7,000, to be used towards academic, research and other expenses. Scholarship winners will also participate in meetings, colloquia and workshops related to the Boundaries of Life initiative, an effort to study novel life forms that includes Stanford, Caltech, NASA/JPL and the Joint Genome Initiative. SF State faculty must nominate eligible students by April 13, 2018 to be considered — see PDF for more details.
