The College of Science & Engineering held its 13th Annual Donor Recognition and Scholarship Awards Dinner on Nov. 1, celebrating scholarship awardees and the donors who make those scholarships possible. Department chairs announced the year’s recipients, and students spoke about their research — from tiny ocean fossils to clinical psychology to abstract mathematics — as well as the challenges they’ve faced in their education. The night’s keynote speaker was Karen Grove, a professor emerita of geology who supports an annual fellowship for a graduate student in the geological sciences.
Thank you to all of our generous donors, and congratulations to this year’s scholarship recipients!
